“Barambah grows a small quality parcel of Semillon (7 hectares).
This wine is a special release as not all years produce such exceptional fruit.Beginning the season, 2008 vintage experienced very moderate weather, with the required rainfall and cool breezes flowing over a vineyard on a 370 metre plateau west of the Great Divide.
This early-harvest Semillon was whole-bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Unwooded and low in alcohol, this wine lends itself to good cellaring, or drink now to enjoy flavours of gooseberries, green apples and a clean, fresh, citrus finish. Well suited to spicy salads and fresh seafoods. ”
