Iconic food business closes door for good

ICONIC South Burnett food business  – Taste South Burnett – closed its doors for good on Christmas Eve.

In a statement on their website Taste South Burnett owners Shannon and Megan Scott announced the closure.

“Sunday December 24 2017 will be the final ever day of trading for Taste South Burnett,” they said.

“After a record breaking Christmas period, we thought we would go out on a high note and close permanently.

“We have been trying to sell the business for sometime now but have been unable to find a suitable buyer, and now our beautiful little family must come first.”

Taste South Burnett has been open in Kingaroy for 19 years, originally opening at the Old Kingaroy Butter Factory in 1998. It was operated then under Stuart Range Estate Wines Cellar Door.
